Healing is a Journey of Returning to Yourself
It’s time to prioritize yourself.
-
Does it feel like the past just won’t stay where it belongs? Is the weight of your experiences holding you back from living the life you want? Maybe you just want to feel like the person you once were.
-
Feeling like your body has turned against you and your problem list is ever growing? You’ve listened to podcasts and tried the supplements but still don’t feel like yourself. Validation and support are not too much to ask for but often feel hard to find.
-
Have you begun a new phase of life, only to feel overwhelmed or unsure of how move forward? From leaving our childhood homes to our own children leaving home and beyond, change seems to be the one constant in life. Somehow that doesn’t seem to make it any easier.
-
Whether with a spouse, parent, children, or friends, relationships can be challenging for many reasons. Communication, boundaries, and codependence are just a few of the paths we must navigate with those we love.
-
Trying to address anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, or other mental health concerns on your own can feel impossible. We can explore new perspectives and different approaches to make those challenges feel more doable.
You deserve the space to take care of your needs so that you can be fully present for the things that matter most.
I’m jessica Mountain
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
trauma-focused therapy
Together, we will find the path to healing and peace you deserve.
-
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing uses bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping) to help the brain reprocess traumatic or distressing memories, reducing intensity and reactivity.
-
CPT uses principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful beliefs related to trauma, allowing our thoughts and feelings to become more adaptable.
-
This is a less structured approach that is helpful when you don’t yet feel ready to engage in a full trauma-focused therapy. It is often a combination of traditional talk therapy with elements of trauma-focused modalities woven in to begin to create more confidence in exploring trauma.
